MY FIRST VISIT

We always look forward to meeting new patients and our goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible! Every patient is unique and our experienced team is committed to providing high-quality care based on your customized treatment plan.

Reminders regarding your first visit:

  • Bring your dental insurance card to your appointment
  • Provide any written referral or x-rays that your dentist may have provided
  • Patients under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • Inform our office if you have a medical condition such as diabetes, high blood pressure, rheumatic fever, artificial joints or heart valves, etc…

Your first visit will be a comprehensive examination and assessment of your case, including a review of the information provided by your dentist. If necessary, diagnostic x-rays will be taken so that your situation can be thoroughly evaluated and the ideal treatment plan can be determined. We will discuss your diagnosis, explain procedures and sedation options, and create a treatment plan that addresses your individual needs.

Please speak with Dr. Ferrin, Dr. Malloy or one of our experienced team members about concerns you may have regarding your care. We consider it an honor to care for your periodontal needs and greatly appreciate the trust you place in us to do so.

Cancellations

Kindly provide at least 48 hours notice for any appointment that needs to be rescheduled. Appointments canceled in less than 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation charge.

Insurance

At Rogue Periodontics, we are proud to offer exceptional and comprehensive periodontal and implant services. While we are insurance friendly and will always work with you to maximize your insurance benefits, we are not contracted with any insurance companies, but we do bill and work with most of them as an “Out of Network” provider. Please bring your dental insurance information when you visit our office so we can verify your benefits to expedite future reimbursements.

Dental Insurance is different from Medical Insurance so please review the insurance benefit booklet you received from your provider to better understand your insurance coverage. The patient payment portion covered for procedures varies depending on the coverage provided by your policy. It is important that you let us know if there are any changes to your insurance plans.

As a courtesy, we will file and track all insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. If requested, an estimate of the amount covered by your insurance company will be provided at the time of your treatment, based on the information provided to us. The estimate is never a guarantee of benefits or the amount that will be paid.

General Guidelines for all procedures:

Carefully follow all guidelines provided by our office, and, most importantly, practice good oral hygiene. Additional instructions following various types of treatment are listed below.
